All students went home last week with a print out of all the possible spelling words on the quiz this Thursday. 

I want my students to know these words well, not just on a week by week basis.

Sorry for the delay!

Having the little chickens in the room took up all of our time, here are a few pictures from our amazing learning experience!

Starting to get a little crowded in the incubator. The chicks had to stay in there 24 hours after they hatched to make sure they were dry and warm before being moved to their home.

Remembrance Day

Celebrating and learning about the importance of Remembrance Day in room 106.

Our little chicks are suppose to hatch this week (fingers crossed) on Wednesday!

Halloween Howl

Little Chicks

We have started a new class project today. We will be attempting to hatch chicks over the next month in the classroom to learn about life cycles!

Here is our set up so far:

We are waiting for the incubator to be at the right temperature before adding the water and the eggs.

- Picture forms are due by tomorrow (if not already handed in or ordered online)

Thanksgiving Fun

We had a great time finger painting turkeys before thanksgiving and also making "what we are thankful for" leaves for our fall tree- take a look at our board!
